METAL | REPLACE GALVANIZATION WITH OUR FLUOROPOLYMER COATING.

Superior Shield is an excellent product for metal coating.
Shield Products has solved problems in many industries and applications through their fluoropolymer blend. Due to its unique no rust, no corrosion benefits, Superior Shield has been applied to various types and grades of metals. The water works industry takes advantage of the superior corrosion and rust resistance properties by coating T-head bolts for underground service. Stainless steel fasteners, used in many different industries, are coated for lubricity, anti-seizing, anti-galling and anti-stick. These metals are commonly used by turn around groups, operations and maintenance departments and contractors at many industrial factories, chemical plants, refineries and offshore platforms. The fluoropolymer coating will outlast galvanization and is easier and quicker to apply, in any color. Any color is available. See our color chart or we will match your custom color for $65 per hour to match ANY color.

Shield Products has perfected the Fluoropolymer fastener coating process. Surface preparation of the fastener prior to coating is a very important step. Use the latest industry accepted methods to thoroughly clean all contaminants from the fasteners. Manufacturing oils, rust and scale are removed to ensure the highest quality coating. FLUOROPOLYMER coatings are extremely durable (20-30 years) and not easily removed during normal usage. During assembly of fasteners in the field, the coating can sometimes be damaged. With most other
coatings, this results in exposed bare metal that quickly begins to show corrosion and causes the coating to fail. Our coating ensures superior corrosion resistance, does not chip and continues to provide protection even under water and the harshest conditions. For further information please call 912-667-8702
